Ethan Allen has helped furnish HGTV Dream Home 2012. It is the sixth consecutive year that Ethan Allen has helped furnish an HGTV Dream Home.
The 2012 HGTV Dream Home is located along the Provo River near Park City, Utah. Not only do you look out through the windows at striking views, but you are also close to a range of seasonal outdoor activities.
The nearly 4000 sq. ft. home is styled as a modern western ranch, and gives you the impression of a home that has grown organically over time, having first started out as a stone structure. The architects saw to it that the home's design takes advantage of the views of the river, and Mount Timpanogos and Wasatch Mountain ranges.
While care was taken in site selection and architectural design, HGTV Dream Home Interior Designer Linda Woodrum also took many factors into consideration when deciding on the furniture and other home furnishings.
She used colors and textures in the furnishings to complement the architectural features while taking cues from the views, surroundings and how these are affected by changing seasons. The moods and themes that she desired to convey in different spaces also influenced her color choices.
