The newly expanded Traditional pillow collection from Tempur-Pedic was designed for consumers who loved their Tempur-Pedic pillows but wanted more choices. Since everyone sleeps differently, users wanted more flexibility so the company added new features to its line of traditional pillows.
A 2010 Tempur-Pedic study found 68 percent of Tempur-Pedic pillow owners said their experience with their pillow influenced their mattress purchase decision. So these pillows have in a sense introduced many consumers to this brand.
Keeping these findings in mind, Tempur-Pedic introduced the the Tempur-Traditional pillow as the latest addition. These pillows are available in three levels of firmness to cater to personal preferences of a broad range of consumers. The level of support and comfort remains similar to the pillows already available, but TempurPedic improved the cover and textile designs according to consumer demands and preferences.
Some interesting features of the TEMPUR-Traditional pillows:
- The patented design combines the pressure-relieving aspect of the TEMPUR material with a traditional pillow shape, which lets the user roll and fluff a pillow while also allowing for personal preferences.
- The pillows use the same Tempur material for support and pressure relief for neck and shoulders

These pillows featuring the new covers will retail between $99 and $399, offering a wide price range.
While they do carry 3-year limited warrantees, the pillows can only be returned if there is some damage at delivery, or some manufacturing defect.
1. TEMPUR-Traditional Pillow

While this newest Tempur-Traditional pillow is available only in Standard Size, it comes in three different degrees of firmness: X-Soft, Soft and Medium. If you feel the Standard size may be too small for your use, You may want to wait for a bit as it is possible that other sizes may be added later on.
This is a dust mite resistant and hypoallergenic pillow like other Tempur-Pedic products. The pillow can be rolled and fluffed to the user's own preference. It can also accommodate different sleeping positions whether you sleep on your back, side or stomach.
The pillow cover is breathable, removable, and washable, which is good news, as a lot of these pillow covers are dry-clean only. The covers come in 350 thread count and 100% cotton.
2. TEMPUR-Comfort Pillow

Available in Queen and Standard sizes, the Tempur-Comfort pillow is filled with pressure relieving TEMPUR material that has made the brand so popular.
Now available in a traditional pillow shape, the Tempur-Comfort pillow is generously filled and provides a firm comfort, yet luxurious support.
Suitable for back sleep, side sleep, or stomach sleep, the pillow now features a removable and washable cover that coordinates with the TEMPUR-Contour Collection.
The pillow is dust mite and allergen-resistant.
3. TEMPUR-Cloud Pillow

The Tempur-Cloud pillow has Tempur-Pedic's patented design combined the pressure relieving comfort of TEMPUR-ES material. The traditional pillow shape is generously filled for luxurious, plush comfort and cradling support.
The removable and washable cover coordinates with the TEMPUR-Cloud mattress collection which continues to be one of the most popular lines from Tempur-Pedic mattresses. One drawback so far has been that the pillow has been available only in standard size, but queen-sized pillows will soon become available.
As with other Tempur-pillows, this pillow is also hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant.
4. TEMPUR-Rhapsody Pillow

The Tempur-Rhapsody pillow has a highly-conforming TEMPUR sleeve filled with shapeable micro-cushions. The pillow is available in Queen and King sizes and has a medium firmness.
The pillow provides support for head, neck and shoulders, and is resilient, returning to its original shape once you lift your head. The two-toned pillow is covered with with TEMPUR-Tex on the top and micro suede on the bottom to co-ordinate with the Rhapsody bed.
The cover is removable and washable.
5. The GrandPillow by Tempur-Pedic

A luxurious pillow in Queen and King sizes, the GrandPillow like other Tempur-Pedic pillows, has a patented design. It is filled with pressure relieving TEMPUR-HD material and has a traditional rectangle pillow shape.
The pillow has a medium firmness and is covered in a silk-cashmere blend for a luxurious feel. It has diamond-embossed Microsuede gusset sides, and a bronze satin rope trim. The cover is removable, but it is to be dry-cleaned only. For daily use you may want to use other pillow covers.
