Mirrored furniture can be used to great effect. It can be used as accent furniture, or simply as "disappearing" furniture in a small space, or to reflect and accentuate light in a dark space.
This end table comes from Pulaski, and it exhibits what can make mirrored furniture special. When you think about it, mirrored furniture has the potential to look over the top and even campy. But in this instance, the smaller scale prevents it from becoming that.
This accent table can easily be used in a traditional setting. But it does have the potential to truly become an accent piece if used in a more contemporary setting, because its curves can form a counterpoint to the straighter lines in contemporary furniture. It can also be used to lighten a dark corner.
The top and apron of the table are mirrored, and the base is made from hardwood solids and veneers with a "Fantasy" finish. So while at first glance you may see the same silvered effect there are subtle changes to make it more interesting.
