I got a chance to tour the collection at the High Point International Home Furnishings Market, and was totally charmed by the color palette, which is reminiscent of Maine Cottage furniture, but at a lower price point. (Although Maine Cottages colors are, I must confess, a little more delectable.) You could furnish your child's room in a single color, the colors of his or her favorite sports team, or mix things up for a more playful look.
I really liked the space-saving twin-over-full bunk beds ($1,618 as shown), as well as the Built to Grow crib ($779), which converts from a crib to a daybed to a double bed. The collection also includes chests, changing stations, night stands, desks, and a Caribbean-casual armoire ($1,549) that would look great in a cottage by the shore.
The myHaven collection is available in stores now, with orders delivered in 2-4 weeks. Visit youngAmerica.com for more information.
