The Recliner:
Profile ComfortTouch recliner by La-Z-Boy is a recliner that would fit into many different styles of furnishing. It has a sleek, contemporary frame and single needle accent stitching and is available in leather and microsuede. It has a brushed metal handle that is in keeping with today's look for metal.
But this recliner was not just meant to be about looks or even simply reclining.
Personalized Comfort:
The Profile ComfortTouch recliner's most outstanding feature is adjustable firmness in the seat and back allowing you to select your own "comfort index."
The "comfort index" is a personalized combination of support and softness. There are up to 100 possible combinations based on height, weight, and body typewhich you can adjust by using a remote control.
The down side is that by offering too many choices, La-Z-Boy has made it difficult to arrive at one that is just right. And then the product doesn't seem to live up to the promise.
The Technology Behind Personalized Comfort:
The recliner has patented air chamber technology in the weight bearing areas. This allows users to adjust the firmness or softness of the cushions from 0 (very soft) to 9 (very firm). In addition to this, the air chamber technology allows for different levels of lumbar support to ease lower back pain or stiffness.
The controls on the programmable remote let you adjust the recliner to your liking. One good feature is that the remote is tethered to the recliner, and stores in an unobtrusive inside arm pocket.
Where to Buy:
You will be able to purchase the Profile ComfortTouch recliner through La-Z-Boy Furniture Galleries, La-Z-Boy Comfort Studio dealers and anywhere genuine La-Z-Boy furniture is sold. To find a local dealer, visit www.lazboy.com.
