The pieces pictured here are from the Fusion Collection which combines influences from both China and Japan. Both the bold, rich colors and intricately designed patterns and textures are derived from the great Chinese and Japanese traditions of porcelains and fabrics.

Ikebana Pillow

For instance the 20" round pillow owes its inspiration to ikebana, which is the Japanese art of arranging flowers. It was embroidered using chenille yarns in satin stitch embroidery to create texture.

Nanping Rug

The Nanping rug bears the name of a Chinese village famous for winding lanes and centuries-old cottages. The pattern features Chinese porcelains and birds and flowers on a rich crimson background. It is available in many sizes ranging from 1'x1' to 8'x11' and the price ranges from around $10 for the smallest to $1,695 for the largest.

Shibori Pillow

The periwinkle blue pillow with the orange and red embroidered flowers is called Shibori, which is a Japanese form of tie-dying. The pillow is 100% cotton, and 18" x 18". It costs around $130.

Kasuri Ottoman

Kasuri is the term used for Japanese ikat patterns which were often used for kimonos. The pattern also draws inspiration from early American quilting motifs as well.

Carnival Throw

The Carnival throw in Sunflower made from is 100% wool and is also available in Aqua, and Moss.
