The Monroe Table Lamp is yet another high quality, modern product from Artemide. The table lamp swivels on its base to let you direct the light as you please, whether you want to direct it at something or away from it.
The table lamp was designed by Ora Ito, which is the brand name for French designer Ito Morabito. If you have seen any of Ora Ito's work you will recognize the complex simplicity that runs through it. He calls it "simplexity" himself.
As you can see, the Artemide Monroe Table Lamp has very clean, simple lines. The drum shaped white thermoplastic shade with a white textured insert is supported on a base and structure constructed from steel. The lamp has a white finish, and the on/off switch is placed on the cord. The lamp can rotate 360 degrees on its base letting the user position it as needed.
The lamp is UL listed, and requires one 150 Watt 120 Volt type E26 incandescent light, which is not included with the purchase.
