Alexa Hampton received her Design Icon award on the last day of the Las Vegas Winter Market.
She is the first woman to receive this award. Hampton's signature style of classic-meets-comfort has earned her a lot of praise and garnered coverage in publications including the Architectural Digest.
The daughter of legendary designer Mark Hampton, Alexa is the president and featured designer with Mark Hampton LLC.
In addition to being a trustee for the board of the New York School of Interior Design, she is a published author. She also contributes to the Wall Street Journal, and was one of three interior designers who launched Gilt Group's Home Design Boutique. Then there is her body of work representing a number of furniture, fabric, lighting, and rugs collections.
