International CES 2013 opened to a record breaking show today. The show runs till January 11.

Around 20,000 new products are being shown. Some of these are destined to become ubiquitous around your home, workplace and public spaces.
LA Times quotes Panasonic CEO Kazuhiro Tsuga as saying that when it comes to technology, "The next five years will transform more than the last 25."
A CES press release says that more than 3,250 exhibitors are unveiling new technologies over an area of 1.9 million square feet. Both the number of exhibitors and the amount of space used this year breaks records that were set last year.
