Did you know that most people don't get the gifts they want for the holidays? A report from American Express Publishing and the Harrison Group disclosed this about holiday gift giving in affluent households.
Turns out that gift cards are what most women want. Instead, 70% of them receive clothing and jewelry. Men don't get what they want either. They would be happier with gourmet foods, wine, and also gift cards, but usually end up with clothing or books.
The survey included 625 households belonging to the top 10% of American wage earners.
